The Culture Factor

Context matters when assessing a culture’s strategic effectiveness.
There are two main questions that we should ask ourselves:
❓ How do people interact with each other – are they dependent or are they independent when working together?
❓ How do people respond to change – are they flexible or would they look for stability?
Based on these two questions eight distinct culture styles are formed – Caring, Purpose, Learning, Enjoyment, Results, Authority, Safety, and Order. To learn more – read HBR’s article The Culture Factor.
