Great Teams Handle External Forces
We’ve seen 3 types of teams over the years:
❌ Too adaptive teams: they execute any command or request they are given – even if it means sacrificing their own needs.
❌ Too stubborn teams: they say “we’ve always done it this way” and reject external requests – they say “No” even to good suggestions or feedback.
✅ Powerful teams are both agile and resilient: they respond to external forces, but don’t sacrifice their own needs.
To be agile doesn’t mean to do whatever you are told.
To be resilient doesn’t mean to be stubborn.
